The combination of the sliding gate valve with a shorter neck, piston actuator and integrated positioner offers an extreme compact valve assembly, chracterized by a high control quality and control dynamics. Due to the direct and backlash-free installation of the positioner on that piston actuator, these valves have no exposed moving parts. Type 8044 is the smallest control valve among the sliding slide valves.
