Two or three-way actuated emergency globe valve for steam and other process liquidsRTK product range includes electric actuated control valves with integrated emergency closing device. Closing speed, means closing time is adjustable. Hydraulic cylinder with built-in spring located between the electric actuator and the valve. The spring in the cylinder will be pressurised simultaneously while the actuator moves until its limit switch responds. While pressurising the pressure chamber below the piston is filled completely with oil over the channel beside the piston. The chamber is shut off with the solenoid valve (NO), which is closed via safety circuit (controlled by relay board RElog) and the piston is fixed on its position. The valve spindle and plug are now operated by the actuator. If the safety switch drops or there is a power failure, the solenoid valve will open the chamber. The oil flows from the pressure chamber into the upper storage chamber. This causes the spring to release and together with the pressure difference at the plug, closes the valve. By case of three-way valves, or mixing or diverting type, it closes port B.
